| Do I dare x-stitch this big? |

Okay now that I'm in a real cross-stitch mode - but really, I'm in danger of stashin' more than sewin' - I thought perhaps I'll be a bit more ambitious and tackle a nice, big project.
I can't think of any reason other that he's a real sweetie, but Jeff's been pretty supportive and last night, told me that he will sponsor the framing of the finished piece - whenever that may be. Likely more than a year I suspect.
What do you think of this? It's Rosewood Manor's And A Forest Grew. (Model stitched on 32-count linen in cream with DMC threads.)

Oh! Since you're into xstitching, I have a bunch of cross-stitch patterns (from completed kits). Would you be interested in them? The catch is that a lot of them feature cats :)
Oh I don't mind having a look - thank you! And also at your work - I am sure it will be very neat and cool.
By the way, I think there are more interesting classes now. Send you a msg on FB later.
oh wow...do it! You will be so proud of yourself when you get it done...!
I have two other options hahaha! Maybe I should post them and ask people to vote. But I showed them to Jeff and this one here is the one he prefers.
Thinking thinking hahaha! Need to find a way to keep the dust out.
go do it!! it'll look very nice on the walls!
When it's finally done haha!
have a target and work towards it!!
i think if you can complete it by next jan would be good and in time for CNY?? :)
it looks amazing! stitch a tree a day, then it wont feel so daunting?
wow. i like this. i used to cross stitch for friends in my school days, now i dun think i will have the time. *wistful*
Maybe a small project? There are loads of freebie patterns out there online.
I have this pattern. Let me know if you'd like to borrow it. :)
Thank you! But I succumbed and bought it from 1-2-3 Stitch when they had a small discount on it. Semi-kitted tho - need to start stitching it! | |
